Welcome to Best Preaching Year!

Thank you so much for investing in yourself and taking this preaching course. You made a great decision.

You’re going to learn how to save time, stress less, and preach better sermons.

Before we dive in to the lessons, I wanted to introduce myself and give you a quick overview of what to expect throughout our time together.

Hello...

My name is Brandon Hilgemann

I’m the founder of ProPreacher.com, a blog that has grown beyond my expectations over the last five years helping tens-of-thousands of pastors every month all around the world.

I’ve served as a pastor for 10 years in churches large and small, and I’m also an author.

I’ve published two books on preaching: Preaching Nuts & Bolts and Preach and Deliver.

That’s what I do for work, but the accomplishment I’m most proud of is being a husband and father. I’ve had the joy of being married to my high school sweetheart, Taryn, almost twelve years now. She has been my partner in ministry through more than I could have ever asked. Together we have a beautiful daughter, Ashlyn, and our little man, Jaxon.

We’ve moved around quite a bit over the years (as pastors often do) but we’ve finally settled and put some roots down near Phoenix, Arizona.

So there's a little snapshot of my life for you.

I'm Here For You

Now, throughout this course, I want you to know that I'm here for you.

You’ve made the investment and are going to put in the work, so I am committed to help you get the most out of this.

So if you have any questions, reach out to me.

  • You can find all of my articles, resources, and books at ProPreacher.com
  • And you can also email me directly at brandon at propreacher.com

I read all the messages I receive, and will do my best to get right back to you.

Course Overview

The course is broken down into three modules. Each module consists of multiple lessons.

I have designed this course to be taken in order. The lessons build off each other. So start with module 1, lesson 1.

If you jump around, you won’t get the best results.

  • In Module 1, we are going to look at the big picture of how to plan a year of preaching.
  • Then, in Module 2, we will zoom in and discuss the seven steps it takes to write a sermon.
  • Finally, in Module 3, we will put what we learned in module one and two together and I'll show you a simple way to get 4-6 weeks (or more) ahead on writing your message.

Each lesson is in video form. But I've also included an audio file and a transcript if you would prefer to learn in those formats instead.

Many of the lessons also include a bonus download to give you a head start.

How to Get Your Money’s Worth

This is an investment. You'll get out of the course what you put in.

So, here’s three suggestions that will help:

1. Remove Distractions

Don’t watch this on your computer with a bunch of other windows open. Unless you are taking notes, shut everything else down.

Silence your phone. Go somewhere quiet. Drink coffee or tea if you are tired.

Our world is filled with distractions, and you cannot afford to miss out on the content of this lesson. I'm going to move pretty fast because your time is valuable and I don't want to waste it.

So do what you need to do to be 100% present and focused when you sit down to go through each lesson.

2. Do the work

If you watch all the lessons, you will learn a lot. However, this course is not just about learning information. What we really want for you is a transformation of your preaching.

But in order to get there, you have to do the work.

At the end of each lesson, I will give you a “Homework” assignment. The homework will be a practical assignment to get you putting what you learned into action right away.

So, if you were the high school kid who never did your homework, here’s your chance to redeem yourself. Do the work, and you will see results.

It's really, really, really important that you complete the homework assignment before moving to the next lesson.

Remember: You will only get out what you put in. As much as I’d like to, I can’t do everything for you. But I will be here to help as much as I can.

3. Repeat

You have lifetime access to this course. So you can take it whenever you need it. If you need help, you can repeat the course. Go over the materials again and you may be surprised how much it helps.

Alright, now I just have one last question for you: Are you in?

I want you to be all-in. Not just a little in. You need to be 100%, all-the-way, fully submerged IN.

Do the work and you will see the results. You will save time, be less stressed, and preach better.

I promise.

Are you ready?

Alright, let’s do this!

Go start you first lesson. Click on over, and I’ll see you there!
